Twitpic Week #4

I'm sliding back further and further into the week before I start posting up my Twitpic report of the previous week. Failing before I'm on a roll - that's gotta be worth something on Ebay.

26th April 2010

Because Mondays are miserable little pieces of filth that cling to bits of your clothing and make you feel really uncomfortable inside, we decided that some pork lard-laden Hokkien mee was in order! Top it off with the bottom feeders of the ocean (which can also be said for its human counterpart), some not-too-spicy lala's really hit the spot. I was ready to start the week!

27th April 2010

Big sparkly shiny twinkling lights and huge powerful spotlights sweeping the night sky can usually mean a few things - a red light district, someone's in trouble and needs a super hero or.. The carnival is back in town!!

Somewhere in October last year, there was a fun fair sort of thing in Klang near David's house (read all about it here), and I had a blast despite it being a complete rip-off of my hard-earned money. I've lost virtually most of the prizes I've won there, but I am so ready to try and win more! Who's with me?? :D

28th April 2010

One of my favourite things to eat in the world - sticky rice dumpling wrapped in lotus leaf. Must have fatty fatty pork, beans and salted egg yolk (which I dont eat anyway). If found, please inform.

28th April 2010

Stereophonics!! Thanks to Chris Tock, I had the chance to catch them live in action at KL Live Centre!! I had a great time, even though I didnt know some of their songs. Kelly Jones is a dish I could eat up every day. Oh dear, that sounded wrong. Please dont slap me with a restraining order. Again.

29th April 2010

Occupational hazards.

1st May 2010

Being the lucky duck that I am (quack quack), I managed to snag some Tokio Hotel tickets from Facebook and from Connie of SkinDeco (fast becoming a daily read). I was feeling kinda under the weather, so I passed the tickets on to my sisters and mum who are mega fans of Tokio Hotel and they braved the rain and crowd to see them!

I was still determined to watch Bill Kaulitz (drool machine, on!) live, but wasnt too interested in the opening bands, so David and I hung out at Coffee Bean to kill some time. Him with his geeking out mags, and me with my full-of-fake-shit girly mags. We spotted an old man sitting in Coffee Bean with what looked like an iPad in hand! Various plans to take possession of said iPad were made, but none came to fruition on the account that we were both chicken asses.

1st May 2010

Tokio Hotel live in Malaysia ZOMG!! I have more pictures and videos, so that'll be a separate post later on. Good gosh Bill Kaulitz is even hotter in real life than I could have ever imagined! I was too lazy to get into the crowd, so I stood outisde the concert perimeter on my tip toes to watch the entire thing.

So. Worth. It.

2nd May 2010

Not a Twitpic, but must mention this! Congratulations to Andy and Sharon on their engagement! David and Nigel both had a hand in his grand proposal scheme while Kel Li and I wandered around Pavilion aimlessly wondering how they were getting on. Also we were bitching about how awesome it was that Andy got Sharon a ring from Tiffany's :P

2nd May 2010

After all the excitement of being part of (well, ok not me) an engagement plan, David and I managed to catch the Chinese movie of the century - Ip Man 2! Donnie Yen is the man!! Good grief I have never lusted after a Chinese man like that before, it might be illegal! His nonchalant mannerism and stoic poker face while delivering 50 punches per minute is just.. Wow..

Ip Man - defender of Chinese pride and poster boy for perfect teeth and casual smoking.

I also bought this really cool doodling book where the pages are filled with half-drawn pictures and we're supposed to just randomly doodle and fill it in. I bought a box of crayons to get started and had a grand old time in Starbucks drawing zombie sheep, Starbucks barista parrots and a scary pumpkin.
