I leave Monday with a random (and rather geli) picture of some preserved caterpillars.

Rooting For The Monsters

Watched "Monsters vs. Aliens" in 3D last night (thanks to Nuffnang).

Awesome!

The movie was great! The characters were hilariously loveable and so adorable, you cant help but wish you were a monster too wtf. The jokes were great and watching it in 3D makes it all the more better! Everything just pops out of the screen and really gets you into the movie. Fun movies like this are hard to come by.

My favourite character?

Insectosaurus!

He's big, fuzzy, blur, communicates in roars and grunts and is attracted to bright lights. Plus he shoots silk/snot out of his nose, and its impossible not to love him for that.

Ok, time to go back to the real world now.

Trip Me Up

Finally watched Eurotrip last weekend after much convincing from Kel Li that someone with a humour as demented and twisted as mine would find it hilarious.

The backpackers guide, apparently.

And I did! Haha!! Damn stupid movie which doesnt require alot of braincells to process, which is great for a lazy weekend in.

But before that, Nigel took us on a little roadtrip of our own. KL is so not my place, and most likely never will be! I always get this sense of being in constant danger and on high alert when I'm away from the bright lights and busy streets of the Golden Triangle.

Then he took us around looking for something to eat and we ended up at Gobi, a restaurant with the trippiest interior decor ever.

With swing seats that make you want to hurl if you move around too much.

Anyhoo, I'm back to being a brunette. I feel, darker now. Wtf.

Screeching Poetry

A rare night of balance!

Gym, donuts (dont judge meeeee!) and voting with nachos at an acoustic showdown at Urban Attic, CapSquare.

Summing it up.

Stuck in my head - "I Cant Stay" by The Killers

The emotion it was, electric
And the stars, they all aligned
I knew I had to make my, decision
But I never made the time
No, I never made the time

In the dark, for a while now
I can't stay, so far
I can't stay, much longer
Riding my decision home

What Makes Fridays TiC!

My Friday is going great! Look what I just found out!

I won!

This is awesome! Wrote a post about Elevyn.com for a contest on Tongue in Chic and have been waiting with bated breath for the results of this for weeks now.

For my gloating pleasure, I won a photography session with Anna-Rina (who is an amazing photographer so i am very in awe right now), a complimentary jewellery set and a trip to Carey Island! *big shiny eyes*

I dont know what to do next, so I think I shall celebrate with some ice cream at 11am.

Watched "Star Trek" last night at GSC Signatures, The Gardens Mall.

*nerdy snort*

The movie was pretty darn good and for someone who has no prior knowledge of any Star Trek trivia (though i kept accidentally referring to it as Star Wars), I didnt really lose the plot or get too confused.

Spock is quite sexy in this one. Yum yum..

GSC Signatures was wicked cool. All seats were twin seats table for each one and it was terribly comfortable. So very jakun and undignified, but it was a great movie night nonetheless.

How shall I ever go back to normal GSC seats, I do not know. Eevon, I blame you. But I thank you kindly too =P

DGMB! What Did You Just Say?

About 2 weekends ago..

"He's Just Not That Into You". Give me that candy anyday back in high school and I'd eat it right up.

Anyhoo, it was the one year anniversary of the whacky bunch of bloggers fondly known as DGMB. Much has been heard of them being everywhere these days with their fair share of scandalous stories and parties.

A DGMB group hug would be quite a disturbing sight to see.

So just for the heck of it, another movie meet was organised at Cineleisure with invitations open to any blogger out there with RM11 for a movie ticket and RM3 for parking.

And over 30 people responded. 30 people with blogs, who have nothing else to do on a lovely Saturday afternoon.

Semangat-ed!!

Main organiser, Joshua, flanked by Lt. PamSong and Corp. Thomas.

Ok, basically alot of pictures were taken before the movie started as we hung out at McD's, terrorising patrons with camera flashes and shameless posing with Krispy Kreme donuts that Aaron snuck out for us at the media launch.

But, I'm too lazy to post them all up.

The only picture you will ever need.

Group picture outside the cinema hall.

The movie? It was pretty good. Want a review? Google it. Lazy la. But the cast was like a smorgasbord of A-listers served at a Hollywood buffet. It was a game of how many stars can we cast into a movie without the audience shrivelling up at the sheer star power they radiated.

As the credits rolled at the end of the movie (which is a fairly common occurrence in movies like this), a montage of really random pictures started playing on screen. I thought someone in the projector room had dozed off. Others thought that some porn might be coming on any minute and whooped in excitement.

Turns out, someone was actually proposing in the cinema after the movie.

He even got his buddies to help out. After all, what are friends for if not to hold burning hot candles and sing in front of a crowd of strangers with cameras.

So he held a mic and proposed.

Drama moment over!

Group picture in the cinema.

Went for a drink at Laundry outside.

Only posting up this picture because Sin Yee and I are the faces that represent Shah Alam!

Hidup DGMB!! Look at them. All oozing sexiness out of every pore.

Kinda gross.
