Facial Underwear
Must make note of random facial improvement and progress!!
I've been hearing alot about how using skin primers before putting on foundation, and about how it'll all help my makeup last longer and stuff.
And I really need the gunk I put on my face to last forever! Everytime I put some foundation on, within a few hours, its like I've just dunked my face in a bowl of cooking oil T__T
I was browsing at Watson's a few weeks ago and at the (very horrifyingly pink) Majolica Majorca shelf, I spotted this little beauty:

According to the label, its an oil-control makeup base which absorbs excess sebum so my makeup stays on longer and I wont kill people with an oily sheen from my forehead at the end of the day.
Look at the packaging. So nice. So pretty. So cute. Must try!!
But it was quite expensive at RM39.90 (for me la) and I didnt really fancy buying a whole jar of the stuff, only to find out that I dont want it. So I found this random blog shop that sells BB Cream (yet another thing i've always wanted to try) and other related products, in full size jars and also in sample sizes!
Yea, I know its kinda dodgy to buy something from a blog shop, especially when its "sample sizes" and they put it in those little flat white ointment containers (like the ones you get at clinics for your rash). What if its some random acidic compound that burns my flesh off, leaving me with a gaping empty hollow where my right cheek used to be!!?? 0__0
But a sample size of Majolica Majorca's Skin Lingerie was exactly what I was looking for, before going full size, so I ordered it anyway.
I've been using it everyday for a few weeks already (i'm quite stingy with it. spread barely enough to cover my face, only on important areas wtf. gonna make this little sample size last me for 2 months at least!) and I love love love it!
I put it on before my foundation, but it doesnt instantly brighten up my skin or make it look matte. In fact, it didnt make an ounce of noticeable difference to my skin (no coverage, no glow, nothing)! First time I used it, I was going to break down and cry already because I just spent RM14 on this (plus shipping) T___T
But the glorious magic of Skin Lingerie shows its true colours once I put my foundation and powder on. My makeup (foundation at least) does last longer! Which is something for me to shout about because I'm forever having to touch up with powder once my face starts melting (like the ass of a wicked witch).
My foundation lately is usually satisfyingly smooth and still rather matte at the end of the day! So happy, you wouldnt believe it. I didnt think miracles like this were possible. Perhaps world peace is to be had with a jar of Skin Lingerie.
Sigh, now thinking hard on whether or not to invest in the full size jar or keep searching for the perfect skin primer or BB cream.
