The Scribbles In My Head

Now we all know how absolutely impossible it is for me to turn down free swag. I'm surprised I dont spontaneously combust at the mere mention of the word "free", even if it is followed by "size" (though i'm a real bright spark in fitting rooms).

Now Nuffnang is hosting an animal-themed party and all I have to do to attend is draw some animals. Hah!! They could have told me to make a 10-foot long papier-mache model of a 2-toned (cyan and antibiotic-pink) duck-billed platypus doing a jig out of RM5 notes printed in August 1998 and it couldnt have been any easier!

Come I show you my 1337 pictures.

First (yes, there's more than 1. this is your lucky day) animal was inspired by the greatest movie known to man - Napoleon Dynamite.

Does 300 or Transformers have a llama named Tina who eats ham in them? I think not!

"What are you drawing?"
"A liger."
"What's a liger?"
"It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic."

This is Napoleon's liger.

Good composition. A little rough around the edges, but definitely room for improvement.

Here's my liger!

Like, whoa. Did you just hear that chorus of angels singing praises out of thin air? Wow, that sudden ray of light emanating from the skies sure gives it a nice tinge of colour.

Someone call the Louvre and clear a spot! Huh? What to do with that Mona doodle? Meh. Bathroom 4 in the North Wing could do with some decorative fixtures. There's some space by the soap dispenser.

(the liger really does exist. its a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger. huzzah! interracial jungle love *click*)

The main sponsors, Maxis Broadband, decided to play nice and provide some rather pointless animal clip-arts in the hopes of giving our creativity a much needed kick in the wazoo. And since I have the creativity of a prune, I decided to just draw those animals and give them a run for their money!

Behold the common leopard's tail.

Now let's play spot the difference!

If that doesnt move you, I dont know what will. Nevermind the fact that it looks like a walking stick right out of Liberace's personal collection.

Then we have the gentle butterfly, unassumingly flapping its dull wings.

Kapow!!
And this children, is how a butterfly looks like when its on crack.

Every frog has its day.

Super ker-ribbit!

Wah, this one is actually turned not bad.

What am I saying? They're all brilliant!

Finally, I unveil my masterpiece inspired by this polka-dotted wonder.

With a shimmy and a shake..

You're speechless. I know. That's how I feel when I look at it too *wipes tears*

Now seriously, where do I apply to have a museum named after me?

Stuck in my head - "Tongue Tied" by Faber Drive

I know it feels like the end
Dont wanna be here again
And we could help each other off the ground
So we never fall down again

And what it takes, I dont care
We're gonna make it, I swear
And we could help each other off the ground
So we never fall down again, again
